Business Process Analyst Consultant
You will work directly on site at client location involving court cases that deal with defaulted mortgages, title claims, foreclosures, bankruptcy, and REO. You will work with backoffice processes. You must be hands on, detail oriented person, strong problem solver, people person who can develop professional relationships on-site with client staff and management.
Work will involve defining and streamlining business processes. You will participate and if necessary lead development of workflow and processes. You must be able to use technology to analyze computerized information, find errors in operational data, define processes, and optimize workflow. Work will also involve understanding and analyzing information systems, and when necessary recommending the changes to the systems to support process improvement initiatives.
Specific Responsibilities will include:
- Build enduring relationships through client organization by winning support for process re-engineering concepts.
- Facilitate the process implementation from concept through roll out.
- Work with client management in identifying candidate processes, clearly defining the process transition objectives, and obtaining management approval.
- Monitor transitioned processes continually and report the progress until all objectives are met.
- Prepare and report final transition results to the client and company’s management.
- Hold and conduct meetings to – identify efficiency improvement, cost reduction, required in operational processes. Then gather information from managers and operational staff. Identify action items. Hold coordination meetings with responsible individuals and parties to whom the action items are assigned.
- Manage action items and follow up regularly to ensure successful completion of tasks to everyone involved in the implementation of new initiatives.
Skills Required:
- Experience in business process analysis and documenting functional and workflow requirements.
- Experience translating functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent skills in process mapping, flow-diagram methods and tools, Internet and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
- Task Oriented, with the ability to plan, organize, prioritize and follow up.
- Experience in Mortgage Lending or Title Insurance field essential.
- Exposure to technologies such as SQL/Databases, Crystal Reports, .NET, scripting, etc.
- Excellent people skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualification Requirements

Bachelor Degree in MIS, Operational Management, related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience with at least 2-3 years of experience in interfacing with clients.
